At the heart of the Fourth Church Choral Society, are members of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra Chorus and Lyric Opera, directed by John W. Sherer.

We are delighted to announce that Camerata Chicago has been appointed Orchestra-in-Residence at Fourth Presbyterian Church, Chicago. It will start its residency with a major performance of the Mozart Mass in C Minor on November 11, 2016 with the Fourth Church Choral Society, conducted by Drostan Hall.

Fourth Presbyterian Church is located in the Magnificent Mile neighborhood of Chicago directly across Michigan Avenue from the John Hancock Center. The relationship between religious faith and the arts is expressed in a program of artistic expression that emphasizes excellence in performance as a part of regular public worship as well as concerts, dramatic presentations, and sacred art exhibitions. The Fourth Church Choral Society is directed by Organist and Music Director John W. Sherer.

This concert will be recorded by 98.7 WFMT for future broadcast.
