Ansel is exceptionally curious and inquisitive – along with the violin his passions in learning include astronomy, the Bible and mathematics. He has loved performing since an early age.

Sasha Hommes

Sasha Hommes is a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She started playing the violin at the age of three, and has studied under Joseph Petron, Jeremy Black and currently Dr. Soh-Hyun Altino. She has participated in various city youth orchestras including the Three Rivers Young Peoples Orchestra and the Pittsburgh Youth Symphony Orchestra as well as in her high school’s choir, band and drama pit orchestra. She also has many years of experience in chamber music through Youth Chamber Connection and Wheaton College, where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Music with Elective Studies in German.
