Camerata Chicago will perform the iconic Four Seasons by Vivaldi at the Wheaton College Artist Series with virtuoso violinist Rika Seko, with Vivaldi’s specially written poetry narrated by renowned actress Kailey Bell.
Maestro Hall will take you through this iconic work with explanations and excerpts from the orchestra giving you insight into one of the most famous pieces of programmatic music ever written.
Conducted by Maestro Drostan Hall, Rika and the Camerata Chicago Orchestra will also perform Vivaldi’s L’Estro Armonico Violin Concerto in A Minor Opus 3 No. 6.
In a celebration of 50 years of the Community School of the Arts at Wheaton College, the orchestra and five Wheaton College cellists will perform Vivaldi’s Double Cello Concerto.
Actress Kailey Bell will narrate the poetry which Vivaldi wrote to accompany his set of violin concerti and will give the whole story of the four seasons as they progress through the many musical images written in the concerti themselves.
